Personal care looks different for everyone. For some, it’s help getting showered and dressed in the morning. For others, it’s having someone around for daily routines, meals, or just getting through the day with a bit more ease. At Zoe Care Support Services, we provide personal care and daily living support that fits around how you already live not the other way around.
As a Registered NDIS Provider, we support NDIS participants with the everyday tasks that make independent living possible, while keeping choice and dignity at the centre of how we work.
Personal care and daily living support covers the everyday tasks that help someone manage their day safely and comfortably — things like personal hygiene, dressing, mobility around the home, and general daily routines.
It matters because these small tasks add up. When they’re difficult or exhausting to manage alone, they can affect confidence, energy and independence more broadly. Support here isn’t about doing things for someone — it’s about making daily life more manageable, at whatever level of involvement actually suits them.
We take a person-centred approach to this. That means the participant decides how much support they want, what they’re comfortable with, and how tasks are carried out. Our role is to support that, not to take over.
Depending on individual needs, support may include:
Please note: our support workers provide personal and daily living assistance — not clinical or nursing care. If a participant’s plan includes clinical supports, these would need to be arranged separately through an appropriate provider.
We start by listening. Before anything else, we want to understand how someone currently manages their day, what’s working, and what isn’t.
From there, support is shaped around participant choice. That includes how tasks are done, who provides the support, and how much input the person wants day to day. We work at the participant’s pace there’s no benefit in rushing routines that are meant to build confidence, not take it away.
Where families are involved, we’re glad to include them in conversations about support, always with the participant’s preferences guiding how that looks.
Personal care and daily living support can suit a wide range of people, including older participants, people with physical disability, people with intellectual disability, and anyone wanting more independence in daily tasks.
This isn’t a complete list every participant’s situation is different, and support is built around individual circumstances rather than a particular diagnosis or category.
We meet the standards required to deliver NDIS support services.
Support is shaped around what participants want, not a standard template.
Personal care is, by nature, personal. We treat it that way.
Our team brings patience and genuine care to daily routines.
We take the time to understand each participant's goals, preferences and routines so the support we provide reflects their individual needs.
We'd rather have a clear conversation upfront than overpromise later.
